Who is eConsult Health?

eConsult allows patients to submit their symptoms or requests to their own GP electronically and offers round-the-clock NHS self-help information, signposting to services, and a symptom checker. eConsult is trusted by 3,330 GP surgeries and has been used to complete over 13M online consultations. Its eTriage platform, purpose-built for urgent and emergency care, is also growing in popularity and is currently in use at nine hospitals including Worthing & St Richard’s in Western Sussex.

How does this affect me?

Day-to-day this change won’t affect how you use Q doctor/ Q health to interact with your patients. It’s also worth noting that you can access Q doctor via eConsult’s toolbar, which can be downloaded for free here.

Do I need to do anything?

At present there’s no need for you to do anything! Q doctor will continue to work as a stand alone product, and there will be no disruption to your interactions with your patients.

When is this effective?

This is effective immediately.

Does this change anything with my terms & conditions?

No, at present your terms & conditions will remain the same. If there are any changes we will of course let you know well ahead of time.

Can I use Q Doctor without eConsult? (As we use a different provider for online consultations)

Yes, you can still continue to use Q doctor as you normally would.
