When preparing your setup Workspace with the Applications & other software you require prior to the Q doctor team creating a software image/bundle you may find you cannot get msi installers to work (you will see an error screen saying that your system administrator's policies have prevented the installation).

In this situation you need to run the msi installer with elevated administrator privileges - please follow the simple steps below;

  1. Right click the Windows icon in the bottom left corner and select "Command Prompt (Admin)" from the popup menu.

  2. Click the 'Yes' button when you see the UAC Window below.

  3. In the Command Prompt, navigate to the directory that the install file is located in and run the install file. Assuming you have downloaded the msi installer to your Downloads directory you want to navigate to the directory below - but replace Workspaces-Name with the name of your setup Workspace (ie the name you type into the Username Feld when logging in);

    D:\Users\Workspaces-Name\Downloads

    Now type the full name of the msi installer you want to run (including the ,msi at the end) and then hit return.

    Your .msi installer should now run without restrictions from the system administrators policies - follow the on screen prompts as required by the installer.
